angela + ithyle took these photos of my boyfriend arian, and i just love how they turned out. this fancy talk is straight from the photographer's mouth: Wet Plate Collodion process, on 8x10 aluminum plates, shot with an old field camera in a parking lot in santa monica.

i've ALWAYS wanted to do the wet plate process! so cool... but photography and i have renewed our love for each other lately. so, maybe someday i will.
